  • Your name made me laugh... my little one loves Bing!! I find him very annoying and a little spoilt, but that's because I'm an old grump.
I'm genuinely shocked you had any estate agents fees from your failed house move, I've never heard of that before and have been buying/selling houses for 20 years. That must have been a dodgy contract?!

Glad you're settled where you are and sounds like you have good plans in pace to clear debt though

Hi ohshithowdidthathappen. You have a fab name also. My little one has always likes Bing. It's also a little nickname I call her. The estate agent bill annoys me. It is no sale no fee but they did sell our house. Even though the house we are buying fell through we then took our house off market so technically they did sell our house. They have reduced the fees from £2300 to £1000. It still makes me angry though as our house sold in 2 days so they didn't have to do much. Hey live and learn. Thanks for popping in. I read your diary all the time. Xx

So today husband is doing some private work. Good rate of pay so that will help at the end of the month. We are going to drop some stuff off at the charity shop and also have a little look around. I have some people coming for the Facebook items I'm selling. It's only small money but it helps.

I have been running down the freezer in the garage for months as we were due to move so it's now nearly empty. Will try and defrost it and slowly build it up again.

Thinking of Xmas. We are doing Xmas this year. 10 this year. Going to be organised. My mum normally gets the turkey, sister gets the deserts, I just cook it. Sounds Good to me!

    So debt looks like this:
    £4795 Loan
    £1200 Parents
    £1500 Overdraft

    Total = £7.495

We are on target to not spend more on the overdraft. With the extra bills we have had this month that is good going. We haven't paid the parents this month so that is the same as last.

    WE WILL GET THERE!!

    Stay cool

Well took lots to the charity shop. The first couldn't take it all so the rest went to another one. Glad it's all gone. The attic and little ones bedroom looks much better.

Spent some money today.. We had a Greggs £5 and needed cat food and craft activity set for little one £11. Face book sales came to £13 which went in my secret stash.

Did a workout today in the garden. HIIT session followed by arm weights and abs. I needed it today I'm getting lazy.

So busy ish day today. Now to relax and watch some tv.

    See ya soon

Nice ache today following my workout yesterday. Need to keep it up.

We are still on track to keep to £1500 overdraft (that's good considering the month we have had) Next month we WILL reduce that and every month after. IT HAS TO GO!

Today will be a swimming day and library for child who is doing the reading challenge. Lunch will be at home today then a lovely walk this afternoon. I'm loving having some time off with little one.

Ok going to do a little bit of tidying up before I spend hours reading dairies.

    Bye for now.

    Good Morning dairy.

We had a change of plan yesterday. We went ten pin bowling instead. Bit pricey but went with an offer of bowl and burger. We spent £25! It is school holidays so just went with it. It was nice family time though.

Today little one has friend coming over for the day. Forecast is rain but it's bright sunshine at the moment, it did rain all night though. Apart from promising them a Mcds it will be a day in the house and blackberry picking in the field behind house and park around corner if dry. We have friend until 6pm so the rest if the time they can play in bedroom or garden and maybe if they get bored we can put a film on. Whilst they do this I can get this house in some sort of order. We have been doing lots over the last few days. I have found a few little bits to sell and need to do a wash load.

Nothing going on at the bank. Still looking at NOT going over £1500 overdraft.

I need to put some money away for Xmas. It only 4 months away! OMG. We don't buy for many others. Adults in the family except parents get something little like wine/chocs etc sometimes a do a little cheap hamper that looks expensive. All nephews and nieces have grown up so they get money. I do tend to spend too much on the little one so will cut that back this year. I have £40 in my secret stash and that will go towards Xmas. I have £15 in my PayPal account from surveys and £14 in Amazon also from surveys so they will also go towards Xmas. We have 3 family birthdays in October so will plan for those.

I do need to plan more. I should do lists. That will be my plan for later on actually. DO LISTS BING!!

Ok of to get dressed and put in a wash load.

Have a lovely positive day all. Don't get stuck in the negatives.

    Bing

Hi Twiggy. Thank you for popping in. Hope your well.

I'm sitting here with a Welsh cake and a cup of tea in my favourite mug. Little one and friend are upstairs playing nicely. I have them an option of Mcds or homemade Mcds and they choose homemade. So thats a win. Need a little shop milk, marg, bread, bagels, Welsh cakes and a few other things. Came in at £10 something. When payday comes around I'm going to note every penny we spend on food/laundry/pet as I have no idea if what we spend is good or bad.

I have a little list (I did say I was going to start doing lists didn't I!) I'm going to get of my fat **** and start whilst the kids are happy playing. Mmmm I do fancy another cuppa though. . . .

    Yo Dairy.

So money is the same as yesterday. Didn't spend a penny at all yesterday, in fact myself and little one (husband was in work) didn't leave the house. The weather was awful. Rain/wind. We heard the wind howling through the chimney and down through the log fire all day. It was nice to have the day in. We cleaned, changed the front and back rooms furniture around. Sung and danced in the kitchen. Learning my lines for choir. We watched a movie. That was nice actually. No phones just little one and I. We watched 'Sing' I have seen bits before when little one has it on but never sat down and watched it all. We laughed through it all. It was so windy yesterday that a big piece of rendering flew off the bungalow opposite. We have had ours renewed when the house was renovated. Couple of neighbours went out to help him sort it out. Our street is small houses on our side and bungalows on the other with farm land behind them. To the end of our street is the allotment but you can only get to that through the next street behind ours. It really is lovely here. God knows why we wanted to move. My name is down for the allotment. Was offered a plot a few months ago but said no as we were moving but asked them to keep my name on the list. So I know I'm on the top. Have no clue about allotments, I have grown some easy veg. I have cherry tomatoes and runner beans growing at the top of our garden but that's as far as it goes but the allotment is so near I might as well do the whole village thing whilst meeting new people and getting little one involved. Little one has a piece of garden here. Meant for growing and planting but she chose to put unicorn and fairy play things there and things to make mud pies.

Today. . . . Weather has calmed down. Sunny but still windy. Husband is working a late shift today (frontline worker) so we will do something this morning with him and then the afternoon will be just me and Little one this evening when little one goes to bed it is ME TIME!!! YEAH!

So time to wish you all a lovely day. Enjoy what ever life has planned for you today.
    Loves ya

Well well well it's been a spendy day!

Little one needed a new bike as she has outgrown this one by miles. Been looking on the buy sites for ages but the good ones go really quick. Husband knows a lot about bikes as he used to race seriously a couple of years ago so wouldn't settle for any old bike. So trip to bike shop and £250 later she has a new bike. It's last year's colours so we had a big discount. Husband has said we are paying this out of his days overtime from last week which was £250. I wasn't happy to spend that much but he said if we had one from the big out of town store that also sells car stuff (you know what i mean?) we wouldn't get a good deal like this one and it would be heavy. I know nothing about bikes only how to ride one.

Then went food shopping. For weeks maybe months we have been running the freezer in the garage down as we were moving. We are now not moving so bought some extra meat to go in there. Came to £74 So that's a big shop for us 3. That's just food, nothing else, not even cat food.

My payday is in 10 days and husbands is 17 days. My pay doesn't even cover the overdraft. I know we bought the bike from the overtime that was going towards the overdraft but really it's a necessity and will mean days out on the bikes which are cheap.

Just made a lovely cottage pie which myself and little one have devoured and it was so yummy. There is some in fridge for hubby tomorrow and the rest waiting to go in the freezer. I'm trying to cook more from scratch. I'm not the best cook and lack imagination but I'm going to try.

I'm looking forward to a lazy night on my own (husband is working a late shift). Mmmmm a book maybe or film or just a pen and paper to make some lists. . . .who knows.

Anyway I'm sure I will pop in later but for now adios.

I'm actually thinking of making some flapjack. I'm a healthy eater and I know these are high in sugar but I fancy them. If they workout ok I can take some to work instead of nicking the biscuits. I'm off to look at some recipes now. Will keep you informed dairy xx
