Hey Squirrelly thanks for popping in. My little girl has always been a 'girly' girl but lately she has got very adventurous and a bit 'tomboyie' and I love it! I was a Tomboy when i was little. I'll pop the kettle on and we can chat. I love a chat.

We heard from estate agents today and they very kindly dropped the charges to £1000. Which is better that the original £2300. We have scrimped just over £1000 so we have the money. We won't ever make that mistake again!!!

So that's out of the way, now to attack this overdraft. It was £1500 last month it would be a miracle if we lowered it this month but who knows.

So 2 lots of washing are on the line. Did half hour of ironing. Man been to buy ladder. Shopping bought and put away.
Now sitting in the garden, it's overcast but not cold.
    Catch up later

    Good Morning Bing signing in.

Today is going to be another free fun day. I like these days. Husband is off today so we are going to take a little picnic to a local forest area. They have a huge mountain bike trail area and also a family route which is flat so thats what we are doing today. Little one can ride her bike and we can run/walk as we arevtrying to get some fitness back but it will have to end with tea and cake afterwards. These are my all time favourite days. Can't wait!

    Money looking ok.

  • Just had a read of your diary and great to see the plans you've put into place.

RE your latest post, that sounds a brilliant day! I'm such a nature lover and luckily, the city I live in has a lot of nature! I'm sure you'll have a great Sunday building memories with the family.

Hi Alicia :j Thanks for stopping by.

Well what a nice day we've had. Lovely walk/run with little one on her bike in local forestry trail. £8 in cafe spent. Sunday lunch cooked and garden weeded and sorted out. Little one is in bed and husband is looking for something to watch on tv.

Catch up for new week tomorrow folks.

    Good Morning Lovelies.

Beautiful morning out there this morning. Today is mission school uniform. I have the £100 the lovely in-laws have given us for uniform in my bag and hope to get it all except shoes and one embroidered cardigan. My mum and sister and of course little one are coming with me so we can go and have tea and cake first. We are only going to one of the big supermarkets about 30 min drive from here and tea/cake will be courtesy of mum today. Looking forward to a catch up.

The bank looks awful but that's only until the 8th when husbands overtime gets payed. We have to be good the rest of this month.

Washing has just finished. Going to put on the line and a quick tidy up before the family arrive.

    See ya later alligator.

Just as we sort ourselves out the car breaks down!!!!! Husbands car. So annoying. He's going to take it to the garage tomorrow. ?Turbo issue. I'm such a calm happy person but this has got me today. ☹☹.

Before the car went bang we had a lovely day with family. Had a Mcds bought for us and spent £70 on uniform out of the £100. I thought I'd get all the uniform out of £100 so was shocked at price. Still need socks, cardigan x2 and shoes. My mum insists on buying her school shoes which is a huge help. Winter coat and tights can wait until October time when the weather changes. I'm very lucky that I have great family. My sister also bought little ones lunch box, water bottle and a toy. . . .spoilt rotten. Did a shop of fresh fruit and veg came to £21. Gosh I need to do a groceries list as I have no idea how much we spend on food.

Low step count today. Tired and fed up.

Just checking your diary, OH my, you do a lot of ironing.

I only iron twice a year, once before summer holidays and once before Christmas. The rest of the year we wear wrinkly clothes:rotfl:

Nice to see your so positive about this, do try to keep track of your spending, even if it's just a note in your diary - £8 Tesco etc. It will also help you track your spending patterns.

Love your little one being so into nature, mine have always freaked out at even the thought of being in the same room as a moth or spider.

Have subscribed so I can watch your progress

Ha ha Hi Lupus Lou. It seems like it doesn't it. In reality I do half an hour and get bored. Your right I need to log spends. Thanks for popping in xx

Just logged into my personal bank account and it looks a little sad. Both myself and husband have what we call pocket money each month. It's not much £50pm. I keep mine to pay for theatre tickets and pay my choir bills. We emptied both accounts to pay the solicitor and estate agent bill. So i have a massive total of £8! I do have a secret stash of pound coins in my wardrobe though. Counted these yesterday and there is £30 there. I don't know why I keep this secret.

Washing just finished. Going to risk putting it out. Will be back in a jiffy.

Husbands car is under warranty for the part that needs changing . . . Phew!

£4 spent in cafe following catch up with a friend. Nothing else spent.

Had a good clear out of little ones bedroom. Put a few little bits on Facebook buy and sell and getting lots of messages. Need to take a trip to the charity shop.

Nothing on tv. . . .never is. Keeping Faith is on at 9 though. The beach/sea scenes are filmed here. Always funny to see your home town in a tv drama.

Nice cup of tea is calling.
