I read on the sticky that if it is a windscreen ticket I should wait 26 days and then appeal. Do they mean appeal to the company or POPLA? It doesn't clarify. Also, can anyone explain why wait? What's the reason behind it?

    thanks

    thanks

Yes it does and it does explain the reason.

In answer to the first one you have to appeal to the company first to get a POPLA code.

The second I can't be bothered cutting and pasting.

They rejected my appeal and I have a POPLA code, do I wait 26 days since the day of the alleged contravention and then I submit a POPLA appeal?

You can submit a POPLA appeal as soon as it's ready. Post it here for review first though.
