Britannia Parking is a hideous company

Why would anyone start a thread to praise a PPC in this forum?
Your post may be better in the MSE praise forum!
The OP looks to have grounds for posting here0 -
You've been told what to do already. Read the first reply to this thread again.
I have appealed successfully in the past for another horrendous company called Vehicle Control Solutions who were amateurs and it was easy to appeal on multiple grounds (I think I wrote 11 points). They made several mistakes and I even uploaded a video showing that there was no sign there.
However, Britannia Parking are more professional parasites and they have taken photos of the car at different times plus photos of signs etc.
Would the same I appealed for Vehicle Control Solutions at POPLA work for these Britannia Parking scums? Just copy/paste without any photo or other evidence?
Also none has replied to my specific question: is it definite that if you pay few hours later you will win the appeal? There is email invoice of payment.0 -
Is the advice I read on the forum, to ignore them and they will send three letters and stop, still valid? It will affect nothing like credit rating, etc?0
-
No. Ignoring letters (other than the debt collection letters) is likely to result in you ending up with a CCJ.0

You have NOT been told to ignore full stop. You can ignore *debt collectors* but NOTHING else.
What do the signs say.0 -

I have no idea what the signs say.
Do I need to go there and take photos?0 -

Personally I've found Britannia to be a fair and easy company to deal with. I use their car parks a fair amount. A while ago, I realised two days late that I hadn't paid for a day's parking. I called them, and they charged a £6 admin fee for a late payment. I thought this was very reasonable.
My brother recently received a notice from a parking management company, can't remember which one, for overstaying at an Aldi car park. He stayed 96 minutes when the limit was 90. He paid the charge immediately to stop it escalating, but also wrote to the company and sent a copy of his Aldi receipt to show that he had genuinely been shopping there. They refunded the money by cheque.
Parking management companies are providing a valuable service to motorists and landowners, and try to prevent abuse from people who think they have a right to park on other people's land outside the terms of any permission or agreement.
Given they aren't allowed to issue a ticket for 10 minutes refunding an improperly issued ticket is the least they could do.0
