So essentially i might as well have asked for Tracked 48 delivery instead of Tracked 24.
Thanks for your help.
No, you would have got it tomorrow then.
ETA unless Saturday delivery is paid for as an extra the the timings given by RM/Prcelforce are for Monday to Friday only. At work we regularly send stuff out on a Friday on a pre-9AM because we need it on site first thing Monday. It sits in postal depots over the weekend and won't be loaded on to a van until Monday morning. Sending stuff pre-9AM on a Saturday achieves the same result.0 -

Apologies for my poor choice of words.0 -
Tracked 48 isn't guaranteed either. Royal Mail aims to deliver in 2-3 working days.

Ok that's great thanks to everyone for their help!
I feel like I had a misunderstanding about the tracked 24 service, so apologies to everyone!
Sorry maybe I've overreacted because I had been waiting all day, but thanks to everyone for their advice i think i now have a better understanding.
I feel like I've been a bit stupid in some of the comments I've made as they've shown my lack of knowledge in this field but I appreciate that people have corrected me and I apologise for my writing if it sounded aggressive, this hasn't set a good first impression for me so I can only offer my sincerest apologies.
Thanks.0 -

Saturday premium is only for SD within RM.
All other products are 6 days standard. Saturday is a working day.0 -

Unless OP entered into a contract with RM, then whats on RM's website can't form part of the contract OP has with the seller.
It all hinges on what exactly the seller promised. Whether the seller has the right to recoup their losses from the third party they chose to carry out their obligation to deliver the goods is completely irrelevant to the OP.You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -
If the seller says they sent it yesterday to arrive today have they given you the tracking number? I always get a text in the morning when I have a Royal Mail tracked item being delivered that gives me an estimated time of delivery and the tracking number.0

I think that's my main issue to be honest is that they haven't given me a tracking number even though i've tried to contact them asking for it, so i am not able to know what stage the parcel is at, and it's kinda made me concerned.
Actually I wish in hindsight I had said that at the start of this thread.0 -

Well said. You're not the most hostile OP I've read - and they never apologise!0
