I ordered a replacement power supply for my Xbox as my original one broke down. I then ordered one off Ebay with the postage described as the seller as "24 hour royal mail tracked" which indicated that I would receive my parcel 24 hours later. However, I ordered it on Saturday and it's been more than 24 hours later, it's currently 4:08pm and i haven't recieved my parcel.
I have been waiting all day for this parcel and naturally this is quite frustrating. Therefore i want to find out am i entitled to a partial refund on the delivery charge as i ordered express delivery, yet it didn't arrive within 24 hours as promised?
Thanks to everyone for their advice in advance.

"24 hour royal mail tracked" simply means that it should be delivered within 24 hours of being passed over to Royal mail.
It's the seller's advertised dispatch time that may be important here. They may say something like "goods dispatched within two days of payment" in which case you will have to allow up to 3 days for delivery.

What did the ebay listing state about dispatch times?

I read that as the seller will use the 24 hour Royal Mail tracked service for delivery. They still need to package the item up and get it to the post office to send so if you ordered yesterday afternoon they may have posted this morning top arrive tomorrow. You need to check when they posted it and count the 24 hours from then

Ok i was mistaken, since there's no guarantee that's fine.
Thanks to everyone for their advice.

This seems a bit unnecessarily aggressive to be honest. I ordered it on Saturday so yeah it would have expected it be now since it was described as "Tracked 24"

As already mentioned, "tracked 24" only refers to the time from when it's given to RM.
What was the sellers stated dispatch time? (not their stated delivery service)

They said items are dispatched the day after ordering, as per their dispatch policy on their ebay page.

The day after ordering on a weekend could well be Tuesday.

But you cannot dispatch a RM item on a Sunday, so Monday would have been the dispatch day and therefore ideally delivered today, but not guaranteed.
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)
