Why does Plusnet have such terrible reviews?

Thanks - I just tried to contact Plusnet regarding their business lines - and the internet connection went down.0

I contacted plusnet recently as I can get a better deal elsewhere and had to listen to nonsense including, because of brexit all call centres will have to be based in Britain for the next 10 years and people who take cheap introductory deals are wrong to do so because it puts people out of work. All nonsense and very unprofessional.0

Seriously!
Do you know where the call centre was based?0 -
I have been with TalkTalk, BT, Post Office, $ky (not a typo) and am with Plusnet just now.
I mainly only see bad reviews about all these. But they have all been fine.
6 months into a 12 month contract with Plusnet, paying £19 for 'phone and broadband, I called and said TalkTalk were offering £16 and could I leave, knowingfull well that I could not leave.
They changed my rate to the £16 one.
My point is, I think they all get bad reviews. Plusnet are fine.0 -

Be careful - at renewal, I did a deal to get the same price going forward (£18.99 at the time) but when they billed me it was for £25 something - and it was a nightmare sorting it out.
And when I called them - they claimed that the person I'd spoken to didn't have the authority to do the deal...0 -
We've had Plusnet for the last 18 months and had no problems.
We've just renewed Plusnet for another 18 month contract, which works out at £30.48 per month(same as last time) for Landline, all calls including mobile numbers and 36mg Unlimited Fibre Broadband.
I have it in writing from them, so hopefully we'll be charged the amount quoted.0 -
Thanks everyone for very useful comments. I have now sorted out a better deal with Virgin. Not as good as PlusNet's offer but it only lasts until next year (balance of current contract) when I think I will give PlusNet a whirl.0
