county court business centre claim form

Hi
I need help please,
I have just received a CCCF from claimant VSC stating that i was parked in a permit holders car park.February 2019.
I am i little worried as this is from the CC, plus this is the only acknowledgement I have had of supposedly breaching parking conditions.
On the date i was at work (and can prove this),also my dad had dropped the car at a friends garage to have minor repairs done.
I have read through a few threads similar but got a little confused of how to proceed.
any help would be greatly appreciated on how to approach this.
thanks in advance

I think you mean VCS, not VSC.

Read and follow the guide to court written by bargepole you will find in post 2 of the NEWBIES.

Send an SAR to the scammers as per the advice in the NEWBIES to flush out the alleged correspondence sent to the keeper.

Send a request to the DVLA asking who requested the keeper's personal data and when, from just before the date of the alleged event until now. State that you believe this service is free.

Check with the garage to see it they took the car out for a test run.

Write to the scammers and scamlicitors stating that you deny the debt, but are seeking debt advice and therefore they are required to suspend proceedings for a month.

Use the precise words in bold.

    Complain to the landowner.

Complain to your MP about this unregulated scam.

Gather evidence of where the keeper and the car were on the date in question.

If the vehicle has a built in satnav, see if you can find out where it was on the day in question.

Do the same for the keeper's 'phone if it has location data history set up.

Get pics of the site and signage asap where the event allegedly happened.

Have the scammers added on a fake £60 charge or similar to the original PCN mount?

    Deffo VCS

Do the AOS online first following the advice from the newbies sticky thread near the top of the forum, in post #2

Email a SAR to the DPO at VCS to get all the documents and pictures and data about you and your case, they monitored the vehicle, not you

Check you have your correct name and address on your V5C asap

What is the issue date from the top right of the claim form ?

Start drafting your defence and post it below, using the concise defence by bargepole and expand on it by stating that you are not the driver

Add a paragraph stating that VCS have failed POFA so you as Keeper have no liability

I think so, as i have read that it should be £100??
    Amount claimed £160
    Court Fee £25
    Legal rep costs £0.00

With a Claim Issue Date of 18th July, you have until Tuesday 6th August to do the Acknowledgement of Service, but there is nothing to be gained by delaying it. To do the AoS, follow the guidance offered in a Dropbox file linked from post #2 of the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread. About ten minutes work - no thinking required.

Having done the AoS, you have until 4pm on Tuesday 20th August 2019 to file your Defence.

That's over four weeks away. Loads of time to produce a perfect Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute.

When you are happy with the content, your Defence should be filed via email as suggested here:
      Print your Defence.
    1. Sign it and date it.
    2. Scan the signed document back in and save it as a pdf.
    3. Send that pdf as an email attachment to CCBCAQ@Justice.gov.uk
    4. Just put the claim number and the word Defence in the email title, and in the body of the email something like 'Please find my Defence attached'.
    5. Log into MCOL after a few days to see if the Claim is marked "defence received". If not chase the CCBC until it is.
    6. Do not be surprised to receive an early copy of the Claimant's Directions Questionnaire, they are just trying to keep you under pressure.
    7. Wait for your DQ from the CCBC, or download one from the internet, and then re-read post #2 of the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread to find out exactly what to do with it.

I have just received a CCCF from claimant VSC stating that i was parked in a permit holders car park.February 2019.
So if it was a red card 'this is not a PCN' on the windscreen, then you can just copy the VCS hybrid PCN defence example from the NEWBIES thread and add stuff like this and say you cannot be held liable as registered keeper because you were neither the keeper of the car on that date, nor the driver:
On the date i was at work (and can prove this),also my dad had dropped the car at a friends garage to have minor repairs done.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD
