    Thanks all,
I have now done the AOS, now I will start searching for defence templates and draft one up.
Ive tried to find bargepoles draft but cannot seem to find it.

    thanks
They're in post #2 of the NEWBIES thread. I gave you a link to that thread earlier - twice in fact.

You don't need bargepole's one for your case. I told you which one sounds right, unless this was not a red card 'this is not a parking charge' windscreen scam.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

    UPDATE.
I did as advised, received a Notice of allocation to small claims track on 2/10/2019.

Today10/10/2019 I have received a letter from VCS saying that they have a strong case against me, (which i Know they have not), but are willing to accept a reduced settlement of £125.00 payable within 14 days.
I am willing to go to court and defend my case as i cannot see what i have done wrong, i have even sent the court my wage slip that says i was at work on that date, but yet the judge has given a notice of allocation?
what is the best next step from here please.
    thx

It's back to post #2 of the NEWBIES thread.

Note from that Notice when your Witness Statement and evidence needs to be sent to the Court and the Claimant and prepare your WS and evidence.

I doubt you have done your WS + Exhibits + Costs Schedule yet, it will be months before the hearing date and deadline date from your court order sent by your local court

what you sent went to a government office in Northampton, not a court

Oh... sorry, we weren't to know that, were we? The last thing you mentioned was that you were searching for a Defence template.

Obviously, to have received a Notice of Allocation, you filed a Defence, and then filed and served a Directions Questionnaire.

You have now told us that you have prepared your Witness Statement and evidence.

The next step is to file and serve that together with your Costs Schedule, before the due date on your Notice of Allocation.

Good to see that you are well ahead of the game.

no , what you sent to Northampton was your AOS and your defence , then your DQ

Northampton is a government office , they will nominate the local court you gave them in your DQ and then you will receive a court order from your local court

Northampton bow out at this point as your local county court take over the case, plus they will have received the paperwork from the CCBC too

your next stage is to do what the court order says and by the deadline date

which is prepare the following and submit to court can claimant by the due date on the court order from your local county court

WITNESS STATEMENT + EXHIBITS + COSTS SCHEDULE

if you havent had this court order from your local court yet, then you may not get it for months, but that is the next steps when it comes

I doubt you have had this yet, all you have had is a scary letter from the claimant or their solicitors, ignore it

the CCBC is just a government office like the DVLA, it is NOT a court

"Not really" trying to find out what is best, if you don't want to help or be sarcastic,"please don't reply".
I have tried to carry on regardless of your sarcasm in an earlier post, so didnt want to bother you or anyone, so don't reply to me as though i am a fool.
I will invite you to come and challenge me on my hobbies or profession, and see who comes out on top then.?
    thx
