IMO anyone who supports Brexit could not be someone with whom I would wish to associate because the package of traits needed to support our withdrawal from the EU would be most offensive to me.
Tread carefully here, @scgf. Personally I voted to remain but there will have been many who wanted to leave because they were sold the idea that our farms, fisheries and the NHS (to name a few) would benefit tremendously. Whether we were being lied to is another matter, but they probably voted 'leave' for the best of reasons.0 -
If religion applies to you, fine, but some of us have a mind. I listen to the JW cr*p and do not slam the door, just take the leaflet. What needy religious people some are.
Is it religious people who you think don't have minds or people with 'faith' who don't - or both? Can you explain why you believe this to be true?0 -

I know people who voted remain but support our withdrawal from the EU because they believe in democracy.0 -

Faith in what ? Religion ? Same thing to me, all a 'sickness/need'. Anyway, going off topic0

How does that work when it is extremely likely the public mood has changed? Brexiteers would happily go through with Brexit even though they realise the public might no longer be on their side. That is absolutely NOT democratic!
You don't seem to understand democracy. Democracy does not depend on the public mood, it depends on who wins the most votes. "Leave" won the most votes and therefore the result must be implemented. Of course people are allowed to change their minds but they must express that democratically in a future referendum to "join" the EU.0 -
It's really not worth arguing. I realise from this whole thread that there are many on here I just don't like, would never associate with in real life and who act like they own the forum. This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
