IMO anyone who supports Brexit could not be someone with whom I would wish to associate because the package of traits needed to support our withdrawal from the EU would be most offensive to me.
Oh dear, I suppose that now qualifies me as twice the baddie I though I was, and will now end up in Super-Hell. All I can say is that I'm glad I don't know you in real life, given your intolerance of anyone who holds an opposing view to your own. I would, however, be curious to know what traits you think one must possess to support withdrawal from the European Empire.
For someone going to such lengths to come across as a good, honest, charitable, upstanding member of society, you're very quick to condemn people for individual actions or opinions.0 -
Every person is a package of good and bad traits. My view is that if the good traits please you and the bad traits aren't too numerous and don't offend you then all is well.
Good day to you.0 -

Well surely anyone who supports Brexit or Trump must be irredeemable people who fall into the basket of deplorables! :rotfl:0 -
Please, let's not turn this into another Brexit thread!!!
It's all about the Money, Money, Money!!
How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 2.60% of current retirement "pot" (as at end May 2025)0 -
Thanks guys - you're nailing your colours to the mast. I could have easily guessed though! This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

Likewise. A most informative thread. I wish users could block other users like on Facebook then you would no longer hear from me and vice versa.
I don't wish to block anyone on here who disagrees with me, If you only want to hear from people who agree with you then don't come on a public forum.0 -
Read through this thread and the sanctimoniousness (sic) of OPs large in him/her. Religion brought into it as well ! If religion applies to you, fine, but some of us have a mind. I listen to the JW cr*p and do not slam the door, just take the leaflet. What needy religious people some are. Personally I use all switches, offers, over 50s plans (£175 received today for £40 'investment' - direct debits now cancelled). The banks are there to make money from us/for their shareholders. THEY draw up the T&Cs not us. If the T&Cs contain 'loopholes', fine. It feeds me/family. No compunction about it. No guilt. I would not harm someone deliberately. I would do someone good if I can (sometimes with time/money/inconvenience on my part, sometimes not).
Memo to self "two spaces behind a full-stop" Jacob R Mogg. Never realised that was correct. I will remember next time !0
