Monzo only reports to TransUnion (former CallCredit).
Not a history of payments, but still, lenders also look on address history - how long you've been registered on ER on your current address. The longer the better. It definitely helps.
Btw, if you are new to the UK, you are really well informed.
When I arrived to the UK 5 years ago, I knew absolutely nothing about credit scoring, reports, history, etc. Most other people had no idea either. In the UK it is much more complex than in most other EU countries. What I like about UK is that you can build a positive image over time if you care at least a bit and if you know what you are doing. You can see your own credit files, etc. No such thing in Slovakia and probably in many other countries either.
thanks i learned a lot from living in the US.
But u right when i moved with my husband to Germany (he's american) he stepped out the plane on a TOURIST Visa (stamp) we went to the local Credit Union and opened an account with no history he got a 500 Euro Credit Card just like that LOL
And Vodafone gave him (because he had a bank debit card) 3 days later a brandnew phone for 1 Euro......0 -
