cashplus offered me a redic Direct Debit protection i think 69 gbp @ over 1000% interest:)
i accepted it (will never use it) maybe that will also be reported to the agencies ?0 -

It does take time - you sadly can't rush these things - once you're on the electoral roll, that'll help. Loqbox will report within about 2 months (It'll likely already be there on the credit companies live view searches - but your free to view report only updates once a month - so it can be a while before you see it yourself). If you have the cash plus card - there's an option to use your monthly fee for 12 months to pay off a 'false loan' - so that you get a record on your credit file of regular payments and a satisfied account at the end of it - as you have absolutely no history - this might be useful. Don't try to apply for lots of credit too quickly - it'll take a few months - maybe a year and you'll then get into a position where for example you can get your first sub-prime credit card...0

i try the credit builder but it says it's not yet available for me......0

i tried to get a regular current account with Natwest was opened all fine but then actually put on hold and closed for again not being in the ER.
So when the ER is actually reporting me, i wanna get a regular account put my salary in that and start from there.0 -
Yes.
You just need to wait.
All of this will take time.0 -
Dont worry about loqbox - they will report soon. I am with them too. Give them an email after 3 months to speed it up if they havent done it by then. Usually shows on around the 3rd month.
I also have a cash plus credit builder card - keep checking your online account and it will be active soon for you to do it.
Looks like the reason you havent got anything yet is because lack of history. Once you start on the ER and get a history then it will be easier. You are in a much better position then me, i have to wait for defaults etc to be removed before my history improves. All you need to do is make payments on time and build up some good history and you should have no problem0 -
Things like LoqBox and Cashbuilder should be ignored and stored will clear of.
There are better ways of building a credit history.0 -
i would disagree because for anyone who has cash plus you have to pay a monthly fee regardless (if you use it) So why not take the credit builder and instead of paying the monthly fee and at the same time show a history of repayments on time. They stay on your record for 6 years and anyone who sees that can see lots of green dots. The more good history you have the better.
As for loqbox, i think they are really good because you can choose the amount you pay per month. So you can do small like £20 or big like £200 and the loan amount reflects this. Lenders can see if you choose £200 for example that you have a history of a big payments without any issues. You get all your money back at the end minus a 30 pound fee basically or if you join a bank they recommend then you keep the 30 pound
I think they both have their benefits,0 -
There’s no need to pay to get a credit history.
There’s plenty of free ways of doing it0
