Trying to apply for advance payment

I've been trying for days for an advance payment, but it keeps saying this

You cannot apply for an advance at the moment because we're still reviewing your claim.

Until entitlement has been determined you won't be able to get an advance payment. Once entitlement has been confirmed you can then put in the request.

Have you been for your initial appointment at the job centre? I was able to apply for the advance after that. It’s paid out very quickly once the other stuff is done

The wife and I had ours last week, but still can’t apply

Will be coming up to our first by weekly interviews soon, I hope we can apply by then
