  • Now onto the POPLA appeal, and hoping for another victory! At least manage to get a change on their website
  • Online on POPLA, the options for appeal are
    - my vehicle was stolen
    - I was not improperly parked
    - the amount requested on the parking notice is not correct
    - I was not the registered driver or the registered keeper of the vehicle at the time of the alleged parking
    - other grounds for appeal

So I’m guessing from these options it would be other?

It is OTHER - at least they have that option! What (or who) on earth is a registered driver?
  • I Know! Ridiculous isn’t it “registered driver”

I'm a little concerned that you asked that question.

Just checking that you have read these particular points in post #3 of the NEWBIES thread:
...don't feel you have to answer their questions, you should write a detailed appeal and attach it as a PDF along with photos (use the parking firm's own photo of the sign if the words are illegible and the £100 (or whatever) charge is not in LARGE letters.
    .
    .
These then get saved as PDFs and uploaded to POPLA under OTHER (ONLY) - do not think you only have 2000 characters in some box on the POPLA wepage!
  • right okay so the best thing to do is to do a longer one, and attach as a PDF

Correct , and has been that way for a few years , hence why it's in the Newbies thread

It's the date on the letter that's important, not when you received it.
