Anyone else had similar problems?

I made this switch to take effect at the start of this month and have had no end of problems. First they just cancelled my PAYM contract so I was without a phone for a day. Now I find that they deactivated my PAYG account a day after starting it so while I've assumed I'm on PAYG I'm actually still on PAYM racking up a big bill because of extra data that is in my PAYG bundle but not on my contract!

So now I've had to go through the whole switch again, which hopefully will happen tomorrow - although I'm not holding my breath!

Its taken me hours of time and have spoken to 10+ advisors over the course of the last month. Unbelievably bad service, which just makes me feel I've done the right thing by not having a contract.

Grrr.

Why don't you switch completely away from Vodafone and their prevailing incompetence, there are much cheaper PAYG services available?
    Evolution, not revolution

yeah I probably should, but I think their "bundles" are pretty good value. I'm looking at the £10 one - 3GB data. Is there better than that elsewhere?

Giff Gaff are the same price for bundles: https://www.giffgaff.com/sim-only-plans

O2 Classic and Three PAYG both have low costs for occasional use (3p/min, 2p/txt, 1p/MB).

You may not even have to speak to Voda now that the porting rules have changed

Just text PAC to 65075 to get your PAC code
