I’m off on holiday to the states at the end of November.
Does anyone think it could be worth buying USD now in advance before any kind of brexit possibility of making the GBP drop again.

Yes cash I think is easier generally, there is a safe in the room etc.
If we buy a prepaid travel card we will be charged a fortune by their cash machines in Vegas0 -

Always have taken cash personally. Any issues with a bank card whilst there and you have nothing.0

We are off to the States on Sunday
$200 in hard cash, two £500 Fair Fx cards in dollars, they gave £70 bonus, via MSE Halifax Clarity & Nationwide Childs flex account.
I would do some research on the cost of ATM's, an awful lot of places are free. You can even get cash when paying the for goods, at some stores, same as here
