That's interesting, I like the space (not much the building). I may go and have a look as well to....
Yeah right now I'm very much thinking about Deptford, the Tinderbox is pretty interesting too, this one in particular:

Right off Deptford station! The problem with those is they doing the work now to get the EWS certificate - apparently without it you won't get any mortgage! It will take 2 months, I've been told by the EA. They still interested to show me the property but will there be any way to maybe 'reserve it'? I don't mind waiting 2 months as long as after that it's Go Time!0 -
Tinderbox looks like a council block which brings its own problems. And presumably all that colourful stuff is some kind of cladding. I’d check it out and I’m not too confident about anything with cladding. There’s a privately built tower block not too far from me that has possibly dodgy cladding, the surveyors aren’t sure. The flats are now virtually unsaleable.1

I do fancy modern buildings, not going to lie!0 -
Very unfortunate name, "Tinderbox"! Especially if it's got cladding issues! Enough to put me off. Whoever thought that would be a good name for a block of flats!
If you drive, try and get something with parking. You'll regret it otherwise round there.
Greenwich is lovely. Stay as near to it as you can.2024 wins: *must start comping again!*2 -
I went to see this one as well near Highbury and Islington:

Really nice building and flat nice too...although the 34sqm floor plan I felt like it included the outdoor patio.
Service C. 1200pa and Ground Rent 75 - pretty good considering there was a gym too. I would consider the property if it wasn't for the EWS certificate...basically, they don't have it. Is there some way to get this certificate privately or it's not worth the hussle?0 -

It does look like one, but it isn't one. For a start I don't think they put studios in council blocks, and it all looks a bit high spec for the council.
@redfinr how about this? https://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-93193964.html ? Nice big kitchen and lounge, garage for parking, and two bed, so you can take a lodger (probably for £500 / month or so in that area) .

Southall over Greenwich?! Absolutely no comparison for me, Greenwich all the way.2024 wins: *must start comping again!*0

Well, it’s Deptford rather than Southall - but still no contest.0

I've heard good things about Southall, it seems there is a strong community there and also crossrail is coming soon...but i'm definitely not looking at Southall0

But do appreciate they're calling it Deptford - no idea why. Perhaps the building straddles postcodes.2024 wins: *must start comping again!*0
