Service charge is £2000/year and includes water. Ground rent £300/year. EPC 82 (b).

Also, borough of Wandsworth which should be one of the cheapest in London

Made an offer this morning after few days of thoughts. So far I have to say DoorSteps seems to be quite alright.

One of my main worries was the cladding and she guaranteed to me she has a proof that the Burneli Building (which contain the studio I want) doesn't have the flammable type. She said she's got paperworks to proove it. She seemed very aware of the problem so I guess is a huge worry between the residents of the buildings.

I keep hearing I need a broker for my mortgage, what's the advantages of having a broker to get a mortgage?

Looks like they already dropped the price by 30k? How much did you offer?

  • Just quite concern with your choice of bathroom. Have you considered the current state of the bathroom, how was it?

100k price drop! Even at 350k, looking at the outside photos it is hard not to feel a twinge of sadness that people ever bought into this nonsense.....

I didnt use a broker. We found a mortgage we liked and went straight to the bank (it wasnt one that we have ever used before) we had an hour and a half long meeting and 3 days later they issued a full mortgage offer.

However (despite having a meeting with a few) we opted against a broker in the end because we previously had a very bad experience with one particular broker which left us burned. But if you can find one that you trust? I'm sure it's the ideal option for many people
