New battery in phone waste of money?

Hi, I've had a Samsung Galaxy S7 for about 2 years. For the last few months I noticed that I had so little battery by about 4pm that I had to plug it into my car usb to keep enough charge in it. I'd suggest you try these:

* check that you've got latest software version (settings menu & use wifi),
* check if your apps need updated (Google Play and Samsung Galaxy)
* Run the Samsung Device maintenance app
* Clear the device cache - power, home and vol up when device starts
* Change location settings to battery saving.
