    Those Ts & Cs are virtually the same, except, as you point out, the dates.

    Are you planning to update the thread title to accurately reflect that there's been no hint of a scam here? Something like "A couple of uninformed bank staff speculated when I prematurely chased a bonus payment" would seem to fit the bill....
