the tyres were not illegal , who said they were ???
Then they didn't need changing "for the MOT". Because the MOT standard and the legal minimum are exactly the same.
  • they wouldnt have lasted the next 12 months and knelw it would be highlighted on the mot, epesh the rear 6 years done 30k i was happy with that

thats all it is just general scratch here and there, inc door handle where nail catches it and full bumper as explained
thats why i was thinking a back street garage its nothing big, just want the car looking good again, hope no offence coursed , just still a bit raw that was in april, i am looking at getting other co doing the next services im going to have to delve into it as its still under warranty

i will get a few prices and do reviews of the places and let you all know, not wanting it done till mid sept so be getting prices soon

I'd be surprised if a full respray is needed. But yes, get some quotes and some opinions.

Dont lead with "i think my car needs a full respray". Have them tell you what they think the car needs to leave it perfect again.

saying that at the dealers , they also said it had a camshaft oil leak, they said if you get the spring and downpipe repaired today off us we will do the oil leak for free, never found out if it had 1 or not or how much it would cost to repair, so i took them up on that if thats what they call a goodwill gesture
