No, but according to their filing history on Companies House they've been going 30 years and have a turnover of about £88 million, so personally I'd feel comfortable dealing with them. Use a credit card, even if the purchase is less than £100.0

Great idea .. many thanks for that tip
I always thought the item had to cost more than £100, or could I add a 'top up item' to bring the total to £100+ The item itself is £99.0 -
To take advantage of Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act, each item purchased must cost more than £100.0

Yes - ordered from them many times for work. No issues.0

However, it doesn’t give details of where the item is actually sent from. Many eBay vendors in China send items in bulk to the UK and typically state “UK stock” or “UK 1st class post”, etc. It seems a bit vague on Amazon. As always, buyer beware.0 -
They do a PRO version for £99 excluding vat https://cvp.com/product/freevision-tech-vilta-m-pro/department/video, but I am unsure of the difference at the moment, but has more buttons...
this one
It is Pre-order, possibly a newer version? 0 -
Looks suspicously the same as the eyemind gimbal which is under £60.
Why that one? Funsnap £50, Zhiyun £75, Emax £54.
Seems to be many many brands for the same item. Not compared specs though as I dont know what you need from it. 3 axis and 4 axis for less money though if you shop around.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
To be fair, a lot of gimbals do look similar, although when the specs. are looked at there are some differences. That Eyemind gimbal shows an image with only 320 degree rotation, where many have full 360 degree rotation. With tracking, you could set the gimbal down and photograph somebody running around and around it without a problem.forgotmyname wrote: »Looks suspicously the same as the eyemind gimbal which is under £60.
Some are great with iPhones but poorer / very poor with android phones.
I have android, and Freevision has good reviews.
Thanks anyway for your input0
