I think avoid showing POPLA any of the entrance sign, and avoid any pics of that other sign where £85 / £50 can be read.

What you are then left with are some very good photos and the end two video clips that show no signs in sight at all!

Thanks for the extremely prompt response - I have removed the link from now as i know they trawl these forums (let me know if you think that's overly cautious)!

I will draft the appeal and upload here soon.

    Hi all

Thanks for your help so far!

I've drafted my POPLA appeal using the resources in various posts on this forum (primarily the sticky!) - please see here

I have included the points noted above. I have also included a number of photos at the back of the document that show no signs.

Please can you review and pass on any comments you have?

(Please let me know if the photos at the end of the document are taking too long to load and I will upload a PDF with a lower file size!)

    Thanks again for your help!

Just a quick note on the POPLA appeal - it doesn't mention any of my original appeal points (that I tried to pay using the app and it didn't go through - see post 1). Unsure if adding this helps/hinders.

Just wanted to mention that to flag when you send over any review comments.

    Thanks!

The first sentence is wrong, there was no NTK sent to him and he's not the rk.

Anyway remove the entire intro of 3 sentences as it's that horrible grammatical aberration effort with split infinitives/appositive commas. Eurgh! Seen that too often.

Remove the template phrase about 'genuine customer/resident' which makes no sense for this car park. I am not saying to remove the entire paragraph!

Your pics are good. Are you going to upload your last 2 videos too?

    Thanks Coupon-mad.

    I've amended as follows:

    1) Reworded introduction to something much simpler.

    2) Took out bit about genuine customer/resident (leaving remainder of paragraph)

    3) Added videos as a link to Figure 50. It is just the last two videos you saw last time, but split into three (i.e. the first video you'd have previously seen is NOT part of this).

    Updated link now here.

Thanks for all of your help! Last two questions from me:

    1) Do you think this is now ready to send?

    2) What do you think the odds are of success?

It would have been 99.9% winnable at POPLA had he stayed as lessee/hirer, but sadly by naming the driver it means all his eggs are in one basket IMHO - his main appeal is about signage.

I think I would add another point to keep NCP busy, with these screenshots being uploaded as well:
What happened: Parked and ran for the train. Tried to pay via app and it failed. Called automated system which said payment went through - no further action taken. It turns out it didn't.

He did take some screenshots to show app failing, the call to automated system and email exchange with app provider.
Just to make it harder for NCP, may as well say the app confirmed that the payment went through on the day and put them to strict proof that it didn't.

That makes sense - from experience of those that pin the POPLA appeal solely on singange, do you generally see these being successful / rejected or a mixed bag?

No problem - I will add to the draft. However, I won't have a screenshot for the payment being successful (I have screenshots showing the payment failed then a follow up call to Dash customer services. I also have some unhelpful emails with Dash parking customer services that were sent later in the day to ask why no invoice had been sent before them giving the bad news it hadn't gone through)

    Therefore:

    1) How can I say the parking went through when they will just ask for an invoice/bank statement?

    2) My screenshots say the payment failed via the app - so do i not include these?

    3) Do you think there's any good wording to follow on the forums for this point? I've searched for 'app not working' and a few similar terms - but just wanted to check whether i should do that or just write something on my own.

Sorry for the plethora of questions - just want to ensure i get this right!
