Here is also a warning to everyone to get this all done in time to relax - I managed to send mine this am by going to a friends as I don't have a scanner - then it came back that they couldn't open the attachment (thought it had to be in PDF) and finally sent it again at 15.59 (1 minute to my deadline) ... I am so stressed. How do older or vulnerable people cope with all this?

Meanwhile my MP has recently passed a private parking Bill in parliament and I have drafted him my defence as he says he may be able to support me. Lets hope so because I am seriously done with all this. The whole industry is a sham. :

I will check with MCOL to see if the defence has gone through next - any ideas when they will get notification?
    Thanks

The Northampton CCBC has been "a bit behind with its work" recently so it could be next week before you see it. You presumably have the email in your "Sent" folder in case of dispute.

Don't relax too much because your next stage is DQ, which should come from the CCBC and is your opportunity to select your local court and tell them about any holidays etc. when you will not be available. You can check this in the NEWBIE sticky post # 2 and read this: -
Do not think putting in the defence is your only job. Directions Questionnaire must be completed and returned to the claimant and the court, explained by IamEmanresu:

It is interesting and quite fun - although I have only been a couple of times so far.

  • So my court date is 3 Jan
No mention about witness statements - do I just take them with me on the day?

But you already know the answers to those questions.

You will already have read them when you studied post #2 of the NEWBIES thread earlier.

Anything you take on the day that you have not submitted beforehand can be excluded , due to ambush

Your hearing date paperwork tells you what to do and the date to do it by

Study other court case threads and the newbies thread then you know the answers to basic questions about procedures , there are hundreds of examples on here

Don't stay on your own thread , you won't learn anything

Yes, there is, read it again about what you have to do and by when.

And please read CEC16's thread and include the arguments used, in yours!
