Did they make those directions? If not, then it would look pretty stupid to tell the court you oppose something the claimant didnt do...

Hi remember me from a few months ago, so I got a court hearing in April 2020 but received a letter of discontinuance for one parking ticket so assumed the other was aswell but this morning got claimant statement with evidence so I’m a little confused as to why they have cancelled one and pursuing the other when the tickets in question are only a month apart

They have sent pic and a log of all the cars and the number plates that entered that day they have sent a lot of pics with the signage dated sept 2015 when my ticket was issued June 2015 so I believe the signage was put up after my ticket was issued.  Also they sent a picture of the machine they have which you need to type in your number plate to get a ticket issued, and this picture does not have a date stamp and I am sure that this machine was only there a few year ago and not in 2015- does anyone know when that was put in

i am a bit worried as to what I have to say on the day and my defence letter they have questioned a lot of the stuff I have pointed out and wrote a statement about each point contradicting everything I have stipulated 

please help

your defence and your witness statement are what you are relying on , anything said on the day is in support of all documents and evidence already filed

you should have a date for filing your Witness Statement + Exhibits + Costs Schedule , so when is that date ? usually its 2 or more weeks prior to the hearing in April , so get on with doing those, especially if you have received theirs

All I have had so far is a date for the hearing which is 21st april

i gave in my defence back in July 2019 and I have received a copy of claimant witness statement 

so I need to producer a witness statement now? 

What does that look like ? Is it any different to my defence?

i don’t have any other evidence as I cannot remember anything from then and who was driving my car as over 6 years ago 

also what happens next ? As in when I go to court? If I lose will I pay more?

Sorry I don’t know what thread you are on about 
i looked under newbie but that’s for all new cases but I can’t see one for when you have a date for county court and what happens after you receive  give claimant witness statement

Your surely bookmarked it at the time.
