No new company has moved into the unit. It's empty and on the market for let. It seems UKPC is hired by the owner of the industrial site to cover all units.

The gym is still active on Companies House with the old name and they provided a confirmation statement on 8 February 2019 using the old name. They left the premises in January, so the rebranding must have just been for show.

£150 - 180 is simply ridiculous for such a simple error!

If I understand correctly, the keeper either pays the £160 and this goes away or they wait in limbo to see if a court summoning appears within the next 6 years. In which case (based on your feedback so far) they are likely to lose if the UKPC contract for the site is valid?
What makes you think that, seeing as we help people win 99% of court cases?

Yes. Which is why we post here, and why you don't pay DRP a silly amount like £160, nor phone them and think you can negotiate with brainless debt collectors.

So despite DRP stating that their last letter was a final reminder, the client (UKPC) has apparently given the owner extra time to pay, with an offer to pay with instalments.

"As you didn't pay what you owe, or contact us to say that you're not liable for the parking charge..."

Is there any point in the owner contacting them to say they're not liable? Previous letters never mentioned an option to dispute the claim in this manner.

The letter goes on to state that failure to pay could hinder the owners credit rating, ability to get a mobile phone contract and even impact employability. This is ridiculous, scaremongering and quite threatening language. Utterly disgusting harassment!

UKPC are offering instalments? I don't think they can offer credit.

    We agree.

Have you complained to your MP & the landowner about this harassment? Always good.
