Help with incorrect company details on Parking ticket

If this is an industrial estate there is every possibility that the land owner of the estate has hired UKPC for the whole site, it would be pretty easy to see if there are UKPC signs on the other units.0

Hi everyone, thank you for your advice.
I believe the land owner of the estate has hired UKPC for the whole site. The keeper is going to try and confirm that by making contact.
The keeper's concern is what will actually happen after this new "deadline" by DRP has passed. In their last letter, DRP stated that if the keeper hasn't paid in full they'll pass their file back to UKPC with a recommendation that they take court action. What is likely to be UKPC's next move? Are they simply going to continue sending letters with requests for payment or will they just randomly send a court summoning at some point within the next 6 years?
The keeper figured because there are incorrect, out of date, details on the parking ticket, this wouldn't go anywhere. Regardless of who owns the site.
The UKPC parking signs are in clear view. The driver ignored them under the impression they had a valid pass.
If I understand correctly, the keeper either pays the £160 and this goes away or they wait in limbo to see if a court summoning appears within the next 6 years. In which case (based on your feedback so far) they are likely to lose if the UKPC contract for the site is valid?0 -
If you get a court claim then that's the time to decide whether to pay the claim or fight it in court
Debt collectors lie about last chances etc
See #4 in the newbies FAQ thread for advice on debt collectors0 -

Yes of course DRP will pass it back to UKPC because they failed
You don't understand, you do not owe £160 and you are being scammed. DRP act for PPC's on the basis of "no win, no fee" so they did not collect from you = NO FEE and that's what the £60 is all about, EXTRA PROFIT.
But that is ABUSE OF PROCESS as you can see here

UKPC are already known for fraud and if they add the £60 in any claim towards you, they are adding fake amounts which could be seen as fraud and pressure would be needed for the BPA to sanction them, ie they ban them from getting details from the DVLA, UKPC has already been banned twice.
UKPC best just cancel this0 -
DRP stated that if the keeper hasn't paid in full they'll pass their file back to UKPC with a recommendation that they take court action.
That is precisely what will happen. Whether UKPC will issue a claim is anyon's guess.
If they do be sure to show the judge this.

My thoughts too, PPC's love quoting "Valid pass, Valid Blue badge, valid permit" etc must be displayed. But what is "valid"?
If a permit was displayed that was in date and there were no signs saying that pass was no longer valid I would assume it still proved authorisation to park.0 -
The pass isn't dated, it's simply a sticker showing the company name and logo. However, it appears the gym attempted to re-brand shortly before vacating the premises. A new sign with a different name and logo was put up in place of the old one... this doesn't match the pass. The driver went to check today and this new sign is still there alongside the unit to let sign. It's still fundamentally the same company and UKPC have issued the parking ticket based on the old company name, which does match the drivers pass. It was dark and all of this wasn't mentally processed at the time as the driver was in a rush to get some place.
Thank you for clarifying. So once the DRP "deadline" has passed, UKPC may or may not issue court proceedings. If they do and I don't feel confident winning in court, I'll still have the option to pay the £60 and bring an end to the whole affair.0 -

No
The £60 bus long gone!
Expect a claim in the region of £150/1800 -
ensure you see the contract between the parking co and the new company
chances are it does not exist , also goto companies house , see date of change of name https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/search?q and /or date of company going into liquidation0
