My wife uses the local gym (Better) and pays £30 a month. She does classes - Yoga, Pilates and various other ones and does about 7 a week on average. So 25+ a month which is about £1 a class or just over so she gets reasonable value. It’s a five minute drive.0

The lovely spa one that I can also use is a lot more - £175 pcm - but you can buy 3 spa visits a year and then PAYG at the gym (not pool) so I think I may mix and match when the time comes to see how much I actually use it.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Pensions, Annuities & Retirement Planning, Loans

Our local leisure centre is operated by Everyone Active. I pay £300 pa which gives me access to a reasonably well equipped gym, a good sized pool and umpteen classes. A cup of tea in the cafe is £1.50. Not bad for the south east (Hertfordshire) I don't think.0

That is a pain about the YBS Christmas Saver I presume. We have our normal savings account with YBS so I tend to move our savings to them after our pensions go through then do a transfer. I would not have thought they would even accept a second payment in.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards.
