Oh yes, my plan is to keep posting. See how long we can make those "nuts" last!!!

I want to keep it primarily about the financials, but I'll also add in some non-financial stuff too, about our lifestyle, travel etc. etc. I thought about having a separate thread for that stuff, but it gets too confusing, and you end up having to repeat what you've already explained on another thread, but then i don't want it to get to side-tracked either!!! Will see how it goes in that respect.

So, i'm off for my usual 5 mile run this morning. (*Edit, I did 6 - I felt good so carried on for a bit)

The scales are screaming "too much good living" at me....so there's about 7lbs that are surplus to requirements!!

Congratulations! Yes, the shift in activities and priorities takes some time - my mfw thread is testament to that, I'm afraid - almost 3 years now, because as well as your own issues, life keeps on happening around you, in all directions :beer:

I got rid of all my suits, so nothing to hang up......:rotfl:

Maybe it should be a "hung up my lanyard" as I also haven't worn a suit in years.

Well, the good:

Weather's been nice, albeit a tad too hot, especially yesterday, so have been just chilling out, mainly with a wet tea-towel over my head!! :cool:
Been swimming, and did my usual mile.:A
Got my last pay.:j
We've treated this week as "holiday" so eaten and drank lots of yummy things.:beer:

The not so good:

They've miscalculated my final pay, so have had to e-mail them about it.:eek:
I've hurt my knee doing deep squats, so no running for a while.:(
