  • A shame I have to wait until April now. I feel very prepared to go much sooner. I'm worried I'll forget all the new things I have learned!

Just a quick FYI. In view of COVID lockdown my hearing is going to be via teleconference.
I am not sure if that's a good or bad thing!

It is  a bad thing imo.  Why not write  to them and insist on a face to face hearing, unless that it you are in a hurry.
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

Definitely a bad thing the more I think about it. I have a way of changing the date to get face to face. I am a very essential person right now. They will understand.

So, was due to attend later next week in person; all paperwork sent, and doing my skeleton argument today.
Now just received a letter to say that it will be by telephone, and that it could be any judge from anywhere. A bit disappointing. It's going to make visual references to terrible signage tricky!

Are you allowed to object to that order?

Good question, but there is absolutely no time for me to get any communication to them in time. I shall simply have to politely express my dismay.

Email? The Ordere will tell you, usually at the end, if youre allowed to object, and the deadline for doing so.

!!!!!! all on the order. Rang court. Really delightful, understanding clerk. Email sent through to judge.
Of course it may be that signage, etc isn't important to the judge and this is all about abuse of process, etc. again.
    Fingers crossed!
