Marathon day is mad in London and for anyone wanting to stay over hotels are in short supply.

  • I'm happy with whatever - supporting the FLM runners was just a thought! Are we set on the 5th April then? Need to investigate/book time off etc & will cme if at all possible! :) Would be good to meet people!
Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.

  • I will go back to executive decision making ... (putting on authoritive voice) - the 5th April it is then. More suggestions please on good meeting point. Looking forward to meeting you all!:j

I might hopefully be able to come to this - it all depends on my finances, but the timing would be good as it's the end of my maternity leave, so it's a good excuse to 'practice' not having a baby surgically attatched to my hip.

I love Leicester Square, there are a few good bars around there, including some that aren't TOO pricey. :D

    I'm a definitely maybe...lol.

There's the best Chinese in all of London about 5 minutes away
Democracy is the theory that the common people know what they want, and deserve to get it good and hard.
  • Right, Leicester Sq it is then. I haven't been there for a while so not sure of an exact place to meet as I guess the square will be busy on a Saturday. Would approx 11.30 give most people time to get there? We could go for a coffee (or something stronger) then perhaps for lunch (the Chinese sounds nice HBFS but open to suggestions). Whatever we do, we will stick to our moneysaving principles!!
