I just hope that my documents have got there ok, because the receptionist wouldn't accept my documents even though I showed the letterhead bearing the name and address of the firm.
Did you ask for a receipt?

Or perhaps just got the guy's name that you handed the stuff to?

I am sorry if this is a silly question, but, could I take a page of typed notes (just a few cues and pointers I have jotted down out of sheer nervousness that I will forget the main points I want to argue)?

(I have found some new points to argue).

So the claimant being different to the alleged contract maker is still alive and number 1 argument ?

    Hope so!
The Claimant is Parking Ticketing Ltd and I have checked that they are a member of the BPA, but the parking signs say Private Parking Solutions London Ltd.
To the OP, did you include your costs schedule this time, and has your previous evidence included lots of photos to prove the above?

A high sum depends on you getting your evidence spot on.

Also, take that SCS Law letter with his name on, with you to court in case the rep they send denies being given the evidence you hand delivered to that chap by name.

I have included everything, lots of evidence etc.

I asked the court if I am allowed to bring a Mackenzie friend and the judge has responded:
"Defendant wishes another individual to give evidence, a witness statement should have been filed and served. The defendant can ask the court to rely on witness statement that has been served late. If the Defendant wishes someone to act as a MF on day he will have to ask judge hearing the matter."

so does this mean the Mackenzie Friend needs to write a Witness Statement?
(I feel so silly asking this)

No, but do you only want a McKenzie friend to sit silently next to you?

Did you mean a lay rep friend to talk for you? A per all the lay rep threads here, that person just signs in with you on the day, and hands the Usher a copy of the Lay Representatives Rights of Audience Order and DOES NOT call themselves a McKenzie friend (and corrects the Usher or Judge, politely, if they misunderstand).

Neither writes a Witness Statement as they are not bringing evidence. Just assisting you.

Well I wrote to the judge not using any of those terms, but just asking if I could bring my brother-in-law in so that he can explain things thoroughly and easily, especially, that its all about him and his tenancy agreement and permit, etc; he is the one who has helped me do all the research and write up all the documents.
in response the judge wrote what I have quoted in my last post.

Sounds like you should have filed & served a WS from him and ticked two witnesses, not just one.

As a McKenzie friend he can't speak in court.

As a lay rep, he speaks for YOU but not as a witness.
