It would be worth asking what impivements have ben made - looking at the two sets of photos, it looks as though they have done up the bathroom, replaced ors and bannisters and replaced the elderly gas fire with a woodburner.

It looks preyty dated in the first set of pictures so they may have done things such as updaing the heating and electrical systems.

£85K in 3 years seems like a lot, but it does seem broadly comparable with the other similar sized properties near by, you would have to consider whether those are really comparable or whether there are reasons why the one you are looking at would be cheaper.

You have been consistently wrong in your opinion over the last 10 years for house prices to crash. Your opinion on house prices is rubbish and most people know to ignore your usual ‘the house is overpriced by 50% IMO’ nonsense.

What you describe is a hope or a wish as you are stuck renting and see no way out.

Can you quote a post where I say overpriced by 50%? Obviously you don`t want them to crash but as Brexit draws nearer and with it the "threat" of a Corbyn government many people are re-thinking the multi-decade debt for basic shelter idea. The bankers were taking the **** by allowing and encouraging people to keep over-bidding/borrowing for property, everyone more or less can see this now and it is just a question of how it all unwinds.
