post the ISSUE DATE from the top right of the claim form below
then read the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread, post #2 , especially the BARGEPOLE defences and example defences etc
email a SAR tonight to the DPO at VCS to get all their docs , pics and data, attaching a scan of the N1 DOCUMENT as proof of your ID under GDPR for this request
read other VCS court claim threads to see what they have done as well0 -
You haven't given us a lot to go on.
Have you received a LBC or an actual claim?
Where did the alleged event occur? Residential, hospital, retail outlet, station, hospital? Have you complained to the landowner?
Follow the guide to court written by bargepole you will find in post 2 of the NEWBIES.
You should also complain to your MP about this unregulated scam.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

Redx the issue date of the claim form is 17th of June 2019 I completed a acknowledgement of service yesterday0

If you did the AoS online then ignore the first paragraph below. However, if you posted the AoS, I would suggest you do it again using the guidance here...Redx the issue date of the claim form is 17th of June 2019 I completed a acknowledgement of service yesterday
With a Claim Issue Date of 17th June, you have until Monday 8th July to do the Acknowledgement of Service, but there is nothing to be gained by delaying it. To do the AoS, follow the guidance offered in a Dropbox file linked from post #2 of the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread. About ten minutes work - no thinking required.
Having done the AoS, you have until 4pm on Monday 22nd July 2019 to file your Defence.
That's four weeks away. Loads of time to produce a perfect Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute.
When you are happy with the content, your Defence should be filed via email as suggested here:-
Print your Defence.
- Sign it and date it.
- Scan the signed document back in and save it as a pdf.
- Send that pdf as an email attachment to CCBCAQ@Justice.gov.uk
- Just put the claim number and the word Defence in the email title, and in the body of the email something like 'Please find my Defence attached'.
- Log into MCOL after a few days to see if the Claim is marked "defence received". If not chase the CCBC until it is.
- Do not be surprised to receive an early copy of the Claimant's Directions Questionnaire, they are just trying to keep you under pressure.
- Wait for your DQ from the CCBC, or download one from the internet, and then re-read post #2 of the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread to find out exactly what to do with it.
0 - Sign it and date it.
