TalkTalk reward problem

Hi

I signed up for TalkTalk Broadband in March, there was a £60 reward voucher promised.

I have been trying to claim the reward several times, they told me to wait 90 days, then they could raise the issue within their complains system, which I did.

I have the feeling that they are not going to pay up.

Anyone else had this problem?

Any advice?

Cheers in advance

    Hi

TalkTalk say the an affiliate called "Awin" offered the voucher, they gave me an email address to contact Awin, but the emails bounce.

I can't actually remember the exacty series of links I had to go through, but I think I started off from this website, which linked to another website (etc) until I ended up at TalkTalk signup page.

I have had several chatbox conversaitions and the "agents" have addmitted that they have a record that the transaction and that the voucher should have been issued.

The conversaition with the complains person was very long and very unpleasent.
  • I have exactly the same problem, also signed up in March for a £60 voucher, which has not shown up. I had a look at the TalkTalk forum and it seems this is a common problem. You may get help if you post there. I have just tried and I will see what happens.

As I signed up for this offer from MSE, I thought I would have a look here too, looks like this is happening a lot.

    Hi SaveMeDo

We do advise to wait 90 days from the service going live to receive the voucher. If it has been over 90 days please get in touch with us directly so we can trace this for you.

    Thanks

    Hi

I think I have passed 90 days since I signed up, It was around mid March.

The Chat Agent said they would try and sort it out with "Awin" the "affiliate", and I should wait another month while they do that?

I've had several rewards from other broadband companies before but never had this problem.

    Hi Vicky

How do I contact you, through the chat system, or phone?

Still no sign of this £60 reward voucher.

I contacted TalkTalk again just now, it seems the "Affiliate" has done a runner!

Anyway they promise they will send me a voucher by 18/7/19, one month after the complaint was escalated.

It really is very poor, isn't it.

    Hi Emma

I have no idea how to "tweet" and I stay as far away from Zuckerberg media as I can.

    Does TalkTalk have email?

I have been trying to find a way of contacting TalkTalk's "Social Team" without any luck so far.

It is a strange irony that it is very difficult to actually contact a communications company, isn't it?

The truth is TalkTalk are batting customers away who signed up under the impression that they were going to get a reward voucher, my case for £60, and then dodge paying up.
