No 3 network signal !!

After nearly 2 weeks of webchat and a visit to a 3 shop, I still have no network signal so no phone calls, texts or mobile Internet on my three phone.
I have had no luck with webchat who really were useless. I've tried a new sim card but the sim activation on three's website does not let me activate the sim. It doesn't recognise my details or the sim number.!
Anyone got any ideas before I throw my phone in the local river.
Thank you

    Is it a faulty phone?

Test with a borrowed working SIM

BiB is the thing to figure out.

Are you contract or PAYG? What happens when you ring your number from another sim?

My phone goes straight to my answer phone. It doesn't ring at all

The phone with no signal is on contract.
The mobile I used to ring that phone is payg on the 3 network !
    Very odd

I presume the contract sim isn’t working in any phone? If so, I would go into a Three shop and get them to process a sim swap directly on their system for you (take photo ID along).

And that is happening in more than one phone?

No just my Samsung which had no signal. Strangely this phone now has a full signal !! Fingers crossed that 3 have sorted it

No ! 3 haven't sorted the problem. My Samsung J3 is on contract with 3 while my HTC one x is payg on 3.
The HTC is working ok but doesn't recognise the Samsung sim card. I can only assume either the Samsung phone is faulty or the Samsung sim is faulty
Again 3's website and webchat don't help one bit
