House not being removed from market

    Thank you for all the responses and advice.

    What ended up working was that I emailed my solicitor to inform her of the situation. That seemed to kick things into action and within a few hours I had a call from the estate agents. They said they were waiting for one of our driver's licenses to be sent (for some reason they couldn't accept any of the other 4 documents we gave as proof of address). Not sure why they didn't tell me that when I was chasing but at least it's now showing as SSTC so we can start searches, surveys etc.!:T:j

    Very odd. When I sold my house the only person asking for that stuff from my buyers on my behalf was my solicitor. The people I bought from had an estate agent that kept asking me for stuff though. I managed without one, my solicitor managed fine with me not having one.
