I had another bingo win yesterday of £36, and I was soooo pleased because I was planning to pay a bit extra off the credit card, and then Stu came home from work and had yet another puncture, so £45 went on that. So over half of my bingo winnings has now been spent in Kwik Fit. :rolleyes:

Daren't play bingo any more - I can't afford the replacement tyres!

That was a quick turnaround....... bummer though! so where from here? Is it do-able? Or time for something new...?

And is any of it fixable cheaper than the garage who are doing MOT? Sometimes it's better to take it away, get work done and go back for the MOT.. Is Stu handy with a spanner!?

There was a long list of things, none of which meant anything to me, although the words 'massive amount of corrosion' stick in mind. Weirdly enough it has sailed through it's last few MOTs, so I'm wondering if this can all really have happened within a year, and now stressing that I might have been driving my kids around in an unsafe car.

Ah well, not any longer. I wonder if there's anything I can salvage from this - I can cash in the tax disc I think....and cancel the insurance and breakdown cover.

No, sadly he doesn't know one end of a car from the other, but there wouldn't have been anything he could do anyway - it's just one of those things unfortunately. I've had her for 10 years, and she was 3 years old when I bought her, so I can't complain.
