O2 sims

Good morning fellow money savers . I have recieved my free o2 sim recently and am probably going to use it to replace my contract with o2 . The 300 free texts seems good but do you just get that for your tenner or can you use it for calls and get the 300 texts for free aswell . No doubt someone has already asked the Q so sorry if its already been posted TIA. :think:

You get the free 300 texts when you credit £10, the £10 will be still be there if you have just used the texts, so yes you can use the £10 to make calls.
You can on the newer sims covert the 300 texts to 100 xnet mins.

You can convert all o2 online PAYG sims to the 100mins xnet option. It was only certain numbers at first because they were migrating records from their old computer system to their new computer system and it was only their new computer system that allowed the use of 100xnet mins, etc. That was a couple of months ago so most (possibly all) o2 online PAYG sim cards can be used to convert to 100xnet mins.

Actually that option is 100 cross-net minutes, or 100 text messages or 33 picture messages or a combination of these. Also 1Mb GPRS WAP.

There may be a paper in the envelope describing this and other details.

the 100 x net works out as 100 inits ie 1 min= 1 init 1 text=1 unit mms and videeo message are 3 units each so once you use have used up your units you then start to eat into your credit i think the deal is brill my kids are on it i wish i wasnt on orange contract as i would be on it too
