I see lots of reference to 6 months but where is this stated in law? I read through the Byelaws (great bedtime reading ) and it’s not in there. Is it more what people have found in practice? Thanks.

  • Ok thanks, not up on the terminology, though as it's likely he has admitted driver liability anyway we're sadly a step beyond that.
  • Update: thanks to the advice about the BPA and their advice to members in situations involving a miskey, I've spoken to them and they agree it's unfair and are liaising with Saba/ZZPS on our behalf. It may still come to nothing but it's worth a try as we have few options left!

Don't forget to complain to your MP about this unregulated scam.

  • Update #2 - the BPA took our case to Saba and they have come back to me today and said Saba are cancelling all the PCNs! I'm so pleased (and relieved!) It was down to 2 things in the end which made Saba stand down, firstly the miskey and also the fact that we did not receive the PCNs through the post for 3 weeks, which meant we weren't aware of the mistake in the system which caused all the subsequent PCNs. So if anyone else is in a similar situation where a miskey has caused a PCN then I would definitely advise involving the BPA to help, their website is https://www.britishparking.co.uk. They are really helpful and it's all been resolved in a matter of days.

Thanks again for all help on this thread and especially the link from Coupon-mad :-)
