I have been accepted onto a Market Research group at the end of the month - £70 Gross , will have to earmark some for tax though, so around £50 after taxes taken off (Queue jumping emoji).

Thanks Greent and SavingHolmes for your well wishes
Not much to report here, we're just trying to carry on as normally as possible. I did the grocery shop a couple of days early as we have the new fridge freezer being delivered today and our boiler service tomorrow and we were running low on a couple of bits. I went to Tesco and that was manic, I managed to get what we needed, minus a couple of bits that had only empty shelves, but I can get around that by substituting it for other items we have in.
Market Research panel for £70 has been cancelled, and won't be re-booked, so that's income lost there. They have offered a token £5 for the work I had already done in preparation, so I accepted that, as it's still earnings.
DD1 school still open, although numbers of attendees has dropped, so I anticipate that they will start to merge classes or close depending on Gov advice. I have sorted out the craft cupboard and we have plenty of bits and pieces to keep DD's entertained should it be needed (plus it will declutter some bits and pieces )
OH will be working from home for 2 days this week and many of his colleagues will be working from home indefinitely. OH cannot work from home all of the time because of his job role, but he will flex in and out as needed.
I appreciate the situation is very different for many people and hopefully measures will be put in place centrally to provide support (we can only pray that common sense will be included in whatever is rolled out), but I suppose it's a matter of just keeping going xxx2022 Target - Reduce new mortgage balance after house move - Part 1 (Ported) Starting balance £39,982.12 currently £37,242.19 Part 2 Starting Balance £101,997.88 currently £96,197.38 (as at 19/04/2022)2 -
Glad you have stuff at home to do. I think the nation will soon get very bored - but they say that breeds creativity - so good could come out of it yet.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality by mid 2030

Oooh! Thanks everyone for popping in, it's lovely to *see* you all x I hope everyone is keeping well.
DD1 was unwell last night so she's finished school a day earlier than her peers (those that were still there that is). Class numbers have dropped by 2/3's this week, so I agree that dropping the staffing levels and pupil attendance to only key workers children is a good idea, hopefully, it will also help the school save money as we have recently been donating used books to top up the school library (but I'm not going to get into the politics of gov funding ... otherwise we would be here for a while ).
I was pleased that Martin did a show last night, as he is trusted and respected by the masses and explains things in a way people can understand, so hopefully it bought people some comfort/clarity. It would have been nice to see him having a longer time slot though, as I reckon there was a huge demand for his expertise.
We're still ticking along here, and hopefully you're all okay wherever you are ... sending hugs for whoever needs them x2022 Target - Reduce new mortgage balance after house move - Part 1 (Ported) Starting balance £39,982.12 currently £37,242.19 Part 2 Starting Balance £101,997.88 currently £96,197.38 (as at 19/04/2022)2 -
Hope your DD recovers quickly and you find time to create more positive memories as a family during this difficult time. My MIL is reaching out more - so now sending her photos of my wider family - little nieces and nephews on my side of the family to bring a smile to her face and a sense of normalcy.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality by mid 2030
