Day 19 - thanks everyone, I’ve just sorted my paypal account. It was really easy and I’ve transferred over the £9.36 that I was allowed. Apparently they have put a hold on the other £30 odd quid.
Today I spend a fair bit in the supermarket, some bits for work and a little aid package for a friend who is having a rough time at the moment.
I’ve sent across £5.00 to the credit card as my PAD. I am desperate not to go into my overdraft this month. I don’t think I’ve not been my overdraft on either one of my accounts in about 10 years! I’m getting a bit close to the wire hence my PAD being £5 rather than a bit more. I have some more overtime due soon so I should be able to manage until then!
Fingers crossed!0 -
Day 20 - spent a bit of money on a few bits at.... you guessed it.... the supermarket! Urgh! I need to stop wasting my money in the supermarkets! Included was a set of bubble bits for dd, they were reduced to £2 so thought dd would like it over the summer! Also grabbed a few more bits for the aid package for my friend.
I bought an audio cd story for dd from Facebook selling pages! It was £3 brand new in packaging so going to pop that in dd’s Christmas stocking hehe!
I haven’t made a PAD today but will tomorrow so it can be a little more.0 -

I have this problem too. When I am organised I meal plan, write a shopping list to take and rarely stray from the list. When I'm not organised I buy randomly and spend much more. Today I went for two items. I don't usually carry cash but I had £1.85 in my purse from the weekend, when I took cash out, and I knew the two items would come to less than that. I just took that with me. It's a great plan! I looked longingly at the reduced bread as it's my favourite and not YS very often but I didn't have enough so I only bought the two items.Mortgage at 12/07/2022 = £175,000

Day 21 - I’ve paid a load of bills this morning including for a broken car! I could cry! I’ve ended up in the overdraft again although not at much as before luckily! No spend day today and I did overtime this morning so trying to be positive. Roll on payday!0
