  • Hi everyone :D it's been a busy few days so haven't been on. Have painted carcus of madam's chest of drawers. Drawers and top tomorrow ;)

    Today as well as bits and pieces for her room I have altered a shirt I picked up in a cs yesterday. It was a size 16 and now it's a size me :D watched a couple of youtube tutorials to help me ;)

    Put together a free pdf pattern for a pair of leggings. Need to cut out and shorten the pattern but not sure if I'll do it tonight

    did some washing and line dried :D

    Gosh that is all!

    Been cleaning up and listing stuff online last few days, and made a sale (every little helps). Sadly made a purchase too, but it was replacing a broken item and I have sold enough stuff to cover my costs for it, so that is a bonus - as is a bit less clutter at home!

    More stuff to clean and list tomorrow - will be relieved when we get that done.

    Now I just need to hope that the other things I have listed sell soon.

    Morning all :hello:

    Didn't manage to get on yesterday but kept the faith :) some shoes I bought in the sale arrived, used a gift card from my birthday. But I might cover it from clothes piggy - will have a think
    We went out to do some research on house thinks, took drink so no risk of deviating to a coffee shop :A
    Volunteered for something to give something back

    Today will look like this:
    Go for a run
    Smalls to prepaid swimming
    Mince out of freezer for tea, will pad out with grated carrot
    Get some milk and honey from local farm
    Make sausage rolls
    Make a cake/biscuits for packed lunches
    See if DH and can make a decision about something in the house. Need to try and source some newspaper (for free of course) so I can cut out items and we can place them on floor. So we can see the space between.
    Water plants

    Have a good day all. Purps.
  • Morning purps :D enjoy your day

    Today is the last of my days off and it looks like it's going to be a nice day. Am determined to spend some (a lot of) time relaxing!

    Things I want to do today:

    * go for a run
    * paint drawers to madam's chest of drawers
    * cut out and sew up leggins
    * go to the allotment - this might be a step too far!
    * hot tub fun

    Things that need to be done:

    * get clothes/bags/shoes ready for working week
    * do madam's hw with her
    * clean bathroom & bedroom
    * make a batch of chilli for my lunches :)
    * bath & pamper

    That will do! Have a great day x

    I just know that life is going to make me work for this operation.

    Spotted a big crack in part of the stairlift this morning. It's a classic case of pay cheap pay twice by the housing association and although known as a dodgy stairlift by them,rather than a new one it's try and fix all of the time which just costs them more money in the long run.

    Now they will be on a timer to sort this out. *apologies rant over*

    Haven't done much else, cleaning day today as the house still looks like a dumping ground with some of DDs uni stuff.

    DNMS madams bedroom is sounding great. I still haven't got the living room decorated, just haven't had chance, but have everything ready just need the decorator now!

    I seem to be addicted to doing my Christmas shoeboxes at the minute nearly finished my 4th one last night. I am going to pull myself away from them now but because immediate future is up in the air i want to make sure I've done as much prep as possible.

    Planning on doing some paperwork later
    Ate from the freezer yesterday using up some YS rice DD had bought so we are finally getting back into a routine so hopefully minimal waste again.
    More washing out today

    Lunch all planned for later using vegetables leftovers.
    Using foxgloves school of thinking with the cats, no wastage allowed after problems with one cat. So far working well

    That's about it from me, have a great day everyone x

    Arranged 3 appointments this week with my own business on the side.

    Saved at least £300 on 3 new golf clubs from a customer with connections.

    Evening everyone, sorry I've been AWOL for a few days. On Wednesday morning when my son came back from his Dads house I noticed he had a cold/cough and his breathing was a bit laboured so I phoned our doctors to try and get him an appointment. They had no appointments left so made us an appointment for 4pm at our local urgent primary care centre in the hospital. 4pm comes and my DS was really struggling to breathe so the GP at the primary care centre literally rang the childrens ward upstairs in the hospital and we were sent straight up and admitted. His oxygen stats were very low and he was working hard to breathe. He had nebulizers and oxygen and 3 days worth of steroids and stayed in over night. We came home Thursday afternoon after such a stressful 24 hours! Hes a lot brighter now and much more like his old self. Thank god. It was a spendy 24 hours though, finding food out to eat as we missed dinner by the time we got to the ward, I bought the TV for 24 hours for DS as otherwise I think it would of been hell on earth then I bought a card and some chocolates for the nurses for doing such an amazing job to thank them.

    Anyway as of tomorrow Im starting again! No spending or low spending on essentials!

    There wasn't much on my list today:

    - I did a quick hoover
    - All meals were from home
    - I sold something on FB that was collected this evening

    Roll on tomorrow for a fresh new week! x
