What small DFW things will you do w/c 17th June?

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free.
Examples could be hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important! :money:

Morning all,
Thanks PF for this weeks thread.
Its wet and wild out there today, so a day continuing with the decluttering is my main plan.
Will also need to
# check banking/update spreadsheet done
# make families lunches for tomorrow - and remember to make an extra one as ds2 needs one for after normal school hours too.
# make a chicken curry, using up various veggies from the bottom of the fridge done, well its not going to be a curry after all as I found a spice pack thing my dad had got us ages ago so have used that up instead, really need to reinstate my kitchen use up box as there are quite a few odd bits and pieces in there not getting used up at the minute.
# update freezer inventory and meal plan around what we have in to avoid the shops for a few days if I can. done
# get the suitcase down ready to start packing for ds2s school trip (also need him to try on a few clothes before we pack them as he's had a bit of a growth spurt! )
** 2 loads of washing done on the quick 30 degree wash and hung on the line as the weather has cleared up a lot!
** ironed dh's work shirts, rest of the washing put straight away
Not a lot on there but enough to be getting on with.
Take care allSticking with the "Small things" thread to keep up us on the straight and narrow.

Morning Campers,
Sounds like everyone is getting stuff sorted ready for the week ahead. DNMS - The room update for your little Madam sounds great. I bet she'll love it.
Tired this morning.....disturbed night as loud cat fight outside & had to just check it wasn't our lad, as he'd already duffed a cat up earlier in the day. It wasn't, thankfully, as we had a vet visit last week & would prefer not to have another bill for a while. Anyway, a productive morning so far.....the money saving bits on today's list as follows:
*Another 50p paid into my sealed pot.
*Checked for surveys, nothing around, but that' fine as I wasn't in the mood for them anyway.
*Did my mid-month budget check-in & updated grocery budget, etc, after the weekend.
*Did 3 loads of laundry (one of them on cheaper overnight tariff), so as to get everything dry on this blowy day before big rain/storms/hail/thunder which appears to be forecast for tomorrow & Wednesday.
*Picked two more cucumbers.
*Cut some lambs' lettuce, mustard & cress & watercress.
*Bake a loaf - it's proving atm.
*Make tomorrow's packed lunch.....apparently extra snacks are important tomorrow as the Earner is working 'in the middle of nowhere'!
*Lovely leftover lasagne tonight.
*Find new recipe to cook next week.
*Resumed two-monthly fish box orders.
*Write a list of the things I'd like to achieve this week.
*Think about a low cost outing for Sunday.
*Liaise with sis over solicitor stuff.
*Check greenhouse veggies for any pests/problems.
*Water conservatory plants.
*Pick more sweet peas.
*Update my DFW diary.
That will be my lot today. Shall probably knit later, as I'm not progressing very quickly with my latest stash busting project.
Cheers all,
