Two days until pay day and I’ve been doing the end of month reckoning. I won’t spend any more on food before payday and spend for the month is at £191.60 - a big improvement and I’m pretty sure we could trim even further.
Debt is now at £11,929.49. I’ll see what’s left in my account the evening before payday and transfer that straight to debt.
OH should also get paid something the day after me and I will put that straight to the debt too. I’ve been wrestling with spending it on doing my daughters new room to be up (ready for when her new sibling comes along) but in reality the debt is just more important!0 -
Ps no sign of the energy refund. They said it can take up to 42 days!0

Pps just remembered I won’t be paying travel this month so will pay that 230 off of the debt as soon as I get paid. Just in case I’m tempted to spend it!0

Just popping on to say hello! Looks like you’re doing great :-)0

Thank you! Am trying but find the end of the month a bit harder in terms of motivation when there’s less to pay towards the debt :rotfl:0

Payday tomorrow! Just paid £80 off of the debt ahead of this months money going in.
Keeping my eye on 10k as a mini target to keep motivated. Just got to keep chipping away.0 -

My focus this month is going to be trimming the food budget!
Our freezer is full and we’ve got a fair amount in the cupboards. We can’t get away with not buying milk as we’ve got a little one who likes her milk but the challenge will be going to buy the milk and not buying other stuff at the same time!
I and OH drink soya milk which I buy long life and have a stash of so it’s really just the whole milk for the little one and bread and fruit that we will need for a little while (we have plenty of frozen veg).0
