I've got both, Netflix is superb and well worth it even with the recent price rise. The "original" programming exceeds what I ever expected.
Amazon Prime I get discounted at 1/2 as i'm technically a student, I don't watch Prime Video frequently but it's worth having (especially as I buy a lot from Amazon, worth the £40 alone for yearly next day delivery)0 -
I accidentally signed up for the Prime free trial last time I bought something from Amazon. I found very little that I wanted to watch. A lot of content comes at additional cost.
I wouldn't play for Prime.
I would recommend Now TV. You can usually buy a two month package for £10,and they will offer you a cheap rate when you cancel.
As mentioned above, these are all monthly subscriptions, so just pay for one at a time and switch between them.0 -
I am a big fan of netflix, recently completed stranger things.
Amazing series it was0 -
We really like Walter Presents on All 4 - have watched some brilliant box sets on there and don't mind about reading subtitles, you soon forget you are doing it.Stopped smoking 27/12/2007, but could start again at any time :eek:0

only watch prime 3-4 times a year via our 2 amazon accounts offering 1 month trials, normally use them when something half decent on......grand tour etc0

I would go with Netflix.
I am a big fan of Netflix and a streamer as well.
Now a days i am watching Money Heist which is amazing in the first season.
Recently completed the stranger things.
you will always find good stuff on Netflix0 -
I'm a bit against these streaming extra type platforms. Netflix, Prime, NOW TV etc.
Saw Now TV - wasn't impressed.
Saw Amazon Prime - wasn't impressed.
I had Netflix some 10 years or so ago - wasn't impressed .... but then my wife took out a trial of it the past week or so and it's changed my mind. Currently got ourselves in to a show which spans 39 episodes & has other related shows so we'll likely be subscribing once the trial is over.
So i'd go for Netflix.0 -

Anyway it's Jessica Jones. We may end up watching the other linked shows to this, haven't decided yet.0 -

I would definitely watch the other related shows as well. AFAIA they are Netflix exclusive.
Here's a handy little guide to the correct order to watch them in
Daredevil s1
Jessica Jones s1
Daredevil s2
Luke Cage s1
Iron Fist s1
The Defenders
The Punisher
Jessica Jones s2
Luke Cage s2
Daredevil s3
Iron Fist s2
Jessica Jones s3.
Iron Fist is a bit weak (in my opinion) but I really enjoyed all others and have just got around to starting JJ s3.
