So I have spent a couple of hours this morning going through all of my accounts and working out where I stand this month. I'm not convinced that my tax code is correct so thats something to add to the list onTuesday. I have worked out that I should have £250 buffer this month if I stick to the plan:D If I can also get another £100 in 'free' money and the £125 bank switch that will mean that I will have £475 to save ( will try and get the other £25 somehow). However I am not going to move any of that until later in the month just in case.
Looking through things I have upped the Petrol budget as overspent last month but this month should be 'normal', kept my food budget the same as that seems to have been ok and upped my me money as have 1 trip out planned. Still need to decide what to do with my hair :rotfl:
So this weeks pots are :
Petrol £50
Food £30
Me £26
All currently at 0 and should not change today.
In my £100 challenge, now at £111so smashed again, will move £100 over and then start again, there are a couple of surveys to cash out, a small expenses claim and I need to look at what else is in the loft to sell
Working all weekend so limited chances to spend which is good, food in the house and I just need to get out for a run tonight and then start my day off list for Tuesday.0 -
A quick update from me this morning as need to jump in the shower and get moving
Worked all weekend so a low spending time, although when I went to the cash point last night popped into the little Sains and found rtc stuff so a little spend from the food budget
Petrol £50 - £50 left
Food £30 - £25 left
Me £26 - £26 left
No changes on the £100 challenge, off tomorrow :j:j so planning to load a few bits on Bay & BF
Right short & sweet0 -
What a lovely lie in this morning and then seeing that the weather actually looks good this morning
Happy Day Off!:D
NSD yesterday so the pots are still intact
Petrol £50 - £50 left
Food £30 - £25 left
Me £26 - £26 left
My new £100 challenge stands at £16 am going to have a look at what else I can find today
So my whiteboard list is very long for today and I also want to finish off the list on here. I am just sat in the sun with a cup of tea and then I am off for a run. Hoping that I can manage 5k painfree:o . Have booked in for a boat balance class tonight and am meeting a friend for a coffee and cake later too, so really need to get a wriggle on this morning0 -
Early morning exercise yesterday and then feeling tired when I finally got home last night meant no check in
However up early this morning and hoping for an early finish so I can get out and run tonight
Money is going along ok, food shop & petrol bought so the pots are looking a little low
Petrol £50 - £10 left
Food £30 - £9 left
Me £26 - £11 left
£100 challenge now sitting at £21, I know I have another £5 to come and am halfway to £35 on TL but need to have a think about how to raise some more. If I don't spend anything else this week then I could move £10 across and I have my expenses £10 to come so that would be an extra £60:D
My 'christmas' present purchase had to be sent back as not the right size  which because of the cost ended up costing £11 to track:o and it will be another £20 to go up a size so I am currently trying to bid on Bay.
No news yet on my RBS pay out, but if you are reading along I did manage to :

So another full on day at work which left me not doing anything again this evening. I really need to get out of this pattern. I have the weekend off so am going to give it some serious thought:o
Petrol £50 - £10 left
Food £30 - £5 left
Me £26 - £11 left
So treated myself to a lunch at work in a bid to try and take a lunch break. Don't think that I will do anymore spending before my pots reset and I should get my expenses today so it feels like I will finish the week at least £40 inland:D
No movement on my £100 pot thats still at £21
My 'christmas' refund has been actioned so I now need to decide if I want to reorder in a bigger size or wait a while longer. I think I may be able to get it cheaper if I wait till the black Friday sales and to be honest I won't get that much use out of it between now and next spring:undecided0 -
An aimless day yesterday involving lots of sleep and not much else. I did start to do a bit of thinking and dinner with my fab friend helped to talk a couple of things through. Not really sure that I am set, I need to have some more thoughts but I 'think' I am getting there.
Last weeks pots ended up with being able to save £10 for petrol later in the month and add £10 to my "cash in the house money" (which I need to think of a purpose for & is currently at £100)
So pots are reset for the week as follows:
Petrol £50
Food £30 - £20 left
Me £26
Not the greatest £10 spent on food but at least there are a few bits in the house. Decided to order a different 'Christmas ' present, slightly cheaper, nicer colour and to stop the delivery hassle am having it shipped to my parents
£100 challenge now at £22, not much movement this week
Off to check the bank accounts, need to pay the 'for points cc' which has the airport parking included and the off for a run:D
Day out with the parents today so fingers crossed the weather is ok0
