  • So today is the start of my new job and day 3 of my weekly money ( this may get confusing!)
    Food Budget £25 - left £7
    Stuff Budget £35 - left £35
    Petrol Budget £40 - left £40
Yesterday was a NSD and also a productive day, managed to finish off a lot of little jobs that had been hanging around ( amazing what a deadline can do) and also meal prepped so that in theory I will be able to eat well all week.

In make £100 in July :
    • £12 in PP
    • £15 waiting to clear
    • £20 from BF selling if item collected tonight
    • £5 this week to cash out from receipts
So that means I still need to find £48 so will need to list another couple of bits this week on BF / Bay ( I have a couple bits that I think will sell) and if I can save a little from my monthly spends pot I should come in:D

Had my 1st Barefoot Date night last night, Ollie was more interested in the food than the financial planning but its a work in progress. I need to check my main account this morning, for some reason it won't let me check in on my phone, other than that I need get myself together .

    The 365 Day 1p Challenge 2025 #1 £667.95/£301.35
    Save £12k in 2025 #1 £12000/£8000
  • So survived Day 1 in the new job, nothing too taxing

Money round up day 4 of my weekly money
    Food Budget £25 - left £7
    Stuff Budget £35 - left £30
    Petrol Budget £40 - left £40
So far so good, as the £5 was pre planned :)

Making £100 is up to £48, just listed another item on BF, have a bid on an eBay item and the surveys are going ok ( with the exception Pro -its very quiet)
Nothing else major planned for today. want to swim this evening after work, need to do a check of the garden and have a hunt for a couple more bits to sell.
  • So Day 2 in the job went ok, I have a bit of a drive today but that's ok

Money round up day 5 of my weekly money
    Food Budget £25 - left £6
    Stuff Budget £35 - left £29.30
    Petrol Budget £40 - left £40

Only a small spend on a stamp yesterday for an eBay sale and some biscuits
£100 challenge going well, now up to £57 after cashing out a £5 survey and an Bay sale. If spends continue as is hopefully will be able to put at least £15 into the pot on Friday
Limited amount of stuff will be happening today as out of the house for a while, but hoping to get for a swim later.
  • So Day 3 in the job went ok, given me some food for thought, however as it was a long day I spent some of my expenses money on really rubbish food so I am not declaring that in my spends as I can claiming all back. However I do need to think about things like this going forward.
Money round up day 6 of my weekly money
    Food Budget £25 - left £6
    Stuff Budget £35 - left £29.30
    Petrol Budget £40 - left £40

So with 1 more day after today to go I think I should be able to move £15 to my £100 target pot although I need to get a card and some flowers for a birthday but also have to take back some paint tomorrow so that will be £4 back, so maybe I will move that instead. I am going to keep the petrol money as I know that I have a bit of extra driving to do next weekend so I will use this weeks money as a buffer. I also need to claim my expenses for yesterday which after deducting monies owed should be £60 which half will go to fill my next trip pot and half will go to start to fill another (will do a post on Sunday about savings pots)
Last day at work today as off away for 3 days, there will be some costs involved but have separate money already earmarked for this. Have found however that I am starting to slip with a few things around the house with going back to work this week so need to have a think about what more I can do to be prepared
  • So day 4 in the job and my last this week :D Its going ok at the minute, I have to say that people there are very lazy and in another life I would be going crazy about it BUT .........

So Day 6 ? of my money and the total's are the same, I did however use £20 from the birthday fund & have £81 due to me in expenses next week ( but I'm not accounting for them until the money is in my hand)
    Food Budget £25 - left £6
    Stuff Budget £35 - left £29.30
    Petrol Budget £40 - left £40

So in the £100 challenge I am now at £81.74
    made up of :
    • £46.74 Paypal ( surveys, selling)
    • £20 cash (selling)
    • £10 SB vouchers due
    • £5 amazon voucher

    This morning I need to:
    • Pack for weekend away
    • Washing
    • Tidy house
    • Take present & buy flowers
    • Buy stamps ( for future ebay sales )
    • Sort fridge
    • Water garden
    • Mow lawn ??

I probably should plan my money ready for the new week but I am going to leave that I think until Sunday when I am back but maybe if I get time ;)

    So back to it today.

I had a great weekend away and managed to only use my expenses money so budgets for this week are still intact.
So its Day 4 in my money week and so far:
    Petrol £40 Budget £40 left
    Food £20 Budget £19 left
    Me £21 Budget £21 left
There is only £5 that I am planning to spend from my budget this week, hence the low level and there is a lot of stuff in the fridge so I have tightened the food budget .

In my £100 challenge, some of the survey sites that I had already accounted for have paid out so the total is currently £88. I nearly have another SB payout and have a few bits due to finish this week on Bay so should make my target again this month:D
I have also managed to hit my 1st savings pot challenge for a weekend away before the end of the year so I will call that £300 complete in Queens Savings

Just going to leave a list here of things that I need to look at / do over the next few days as a reminder:
    • Login for HSBC
    • Phone Sky & haggle
    • Chase ticket for Saturday
    • Chase passport
    • Paint for garden project
    • Barefoot Date Night
    • Holiday Car Parking
  • So another day in the new job, met some new people and think I have sorted out the journey so I am feeling a little better about things. However as I said the other day I have lost a bit of focus around food and after work stuff so I need to look at that a bit more.

So its Day 4 in my money week and so far:
    Petrol £40 Budget £40 left
    Food £20 Budget £19 left
    Me £21 Budget £21 left
No spends at all yesterday so all looking good. £100 challenge stands at £92 ( £5 voucher cashed out). I know that I will spend on parking today and I need a little bit of food ( got salmon out of the freezer but want so veg to go with it). The fuel budget should stay intact this week as was hoping to go somewhere on Saturday but it is now looking unlikely that will happen,

Went out for my first run post injury last night - only a mile but the injured body part seemed to hold up ok and its fine this morning so hopefully I am on the road to recovery.
