This is what I get, do not understand what it means? Thanks
our link from us appears to be about 0.760352Mb/s For a fast ADSL internet link, look at http://sod.ms/
A non AAISP speed tester is: www.speedtest.net, this also seems good for testing upload.
0.760352Mb/s 760352 468660 4692440 46.662239
It means that when you did that speed test, your speed was measured at 0.76 Mb/s or approximately three quarter Mb/s e.g. less than 1Mb/s.
To obtain your line stats see this page and look for your modem/router. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -

No, we need your up/down attenuation , up/down snr margin as well. You arecurrently syncing at 1792 kbps which is still in the 1500 kbps profile range. What modem/router do you have?Keeping the pedants at bay - dot an i or cross a t only if you feel you really can't stop yourself:p0

Hi, i have never posted a message before - but i had to share this !!
Not sure if this is the right place to send it so if it is not please forward to the appropriate place!
I am a Virgin (previously telewest) customer, and on their website they are currently running an offer for the following: Telephone (free weekend calls), Internet (2mb/gb?) unlimited downloads, and the Large tv package for £30 a month. BUT ................ you get 12 months free XL TV package, which means you get ALL the channels.
This is a great deal - especially if you were paying £30 a month anyway !!!
When i called them they told me it was only for existing customers - so i went to disconnections and they said its for ALL customers.0 -

I have a BT voyager 210.0 -
You should find the stats we need by logging on to your router via the web page 192.168.1.1 clicking on Advanced, then Status, then ADSL Line (or Broadband Line) and finally More Information.
If you are prompted to login, the username is admin and the password is either admin or password.

What's wrong with the link way back in post 5 for his stats? I'd like to know so I don't link to it again if it's wrong.:o
OP posting info from I think the initial web page from the routers GUI so I pointed him in the right direction to save time.
Reason for "What's that then? Am I missing something here?" is the OP stated he had a Voyager 210 which is AFAIK a modem/router so why the "... thats if they have a router" to my response?
